sounds like a fuel feed problem check your fuel pump and your fuel lines.best way is to connect a line from a gas can directly to the fuel pump and put the line from your tank into the can to prevent spillage.then try to start and throttle engine. if it dies that means there could be an in line filter or the pump is bad.if it works then run the hose from the tank to the pump if it doesnt work then its the pump and filter in the tank. if it works then clean the lines between the tank and the pump or engine.
