You either have an ECM destroyed by a leaking heater core o-ring or a transmission destroyed by a broken wave ring.

There should be a class action against Mitsubishi about all of these cars.

Goole for the online petition about the problems with the F4A51 and F4A50 transmissions used by Mitsubishi - you will be furious.
