Does anybody have the fitting instruction for genuine 2006 Ford Focus C-Max roof bars? A little surprised the only support for the bars/feet are two thinish strips of metal per foot (like the blunt back of a knife) seperated from the roof of the car by thin strips of rubber that slide onto the stips of metal. I was expecting a greater surface connection and seperation, something more solid. The bars are attached at fixed points on the roof and these are genuine Ford Parts.
