If the light was flashing when it came on, then it means your engine is misfiring.

A solid light can mean anything from a loose/faulty gas cap to a transmission issue.

This light comes on when the computer detects a fault of some sort in its diagnostic tests. If it keeps detecting this issue, the light will remain on. If the light turns off, then it has detected that the issue may no longer be present.

In order to find out what the exact reason was for your light, You need to have your car computer scanned to retrieve the code that the computer would have stored when the light triggered. Most garages will do this free of charge. The code will tell you what may have caused the light to initially turn on.

Why is a green light flashing ( OD OFF) on the lower right side of the dash ? This is where the orange air bag light comes on when starting the car.

A flashing OD light is telling you the overdrive is off and there may be a problem with the engine or transmission.
The computer turns the overdrive off to try to prevent damage to both.

Od ligth start flashing truck run good

If your "OD" light is flashing then the computer has detected a fault that can only be accessed with a "scan" tool. Do not ignore this warning light! You may spend a few bucks fixing it now, but if you ignore it, it could cost you a lot more.

When I get in the minivan before to start the engine interior ligths start to flash and dashboard lights flicker when engine is running and lights are on

Please perform a SYSTEM LIGHT RESET via jumping the onboard programming. In order to do this, you wil nneed to remove and replace the red lead on the battery which will reset the issue your experiencing.

The lights on my dashboard wont go off

You apparently have lost a major engine to chassis ground. This can be difficult to trace but I would start at the battery negative terminal pigtail (smaller black wire that is connected to the nearest fender to the battery. After that check the braided uncoated wire that comes from the intake manifold on the upper engine towards the rear and connects to the firewall.

Orange engine light with K on it on the dashboard

Sounds like a common error to me, when doing the clutch it is easy to knock the crank sensor when putting it all back together. It may be damaged or dislodged.

It is the Black plastic part at the top front side of where the gearbox meets the engine, 3 wires going to it.

They are very common so also very cheap.

What does the orange warning sign on the dashboard means?

There are several waring lights on your dash so lets see if i can guess: does it look like this ( ! ) with some squiggly lines under it? If it is that's your tire pressure warning light tell you that one or more of your tires is low on air. after you correct you tire pressure you'll find a tire pressure reset switch just inside you glove box push it for a few seconds and your warning light should get cleared.
