Had the same issue on my 2000 300m. A CD got stuck in the changing unit. Had it replaced by the dealer and haven't had a problem since. You might want to remove the changer, open it up and make sure you don't have a jammed CD.

Cd player wont accept cd.s says load error

pull the player out but leave it connected. when you push the eject button, lightly tap on the top of the cd player, if there is one jammed, you may want to consider just getting a new cd player, it may do the same to your cd!

Cd System in 2000 Chrysler 300M

Had same problem wit my 4 disk. A CD was jammed. Remove and open the unit up and remove the CD. The mechinizem might be jammed also. Try this before replacing. Seems like a common issue with these units. The newer 300Ms came with 6 disk changers.. not sure if these will work with the existing radio.

Good luck!

Radio wiring hook up

SOUNDS LIKE THE EJECT BUTTON IS STUCK ON, TRY TAPPING ON THE EJECT BUTTON OR RECHECK THE WIRING TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ALL THE WIRES IN THE CORRECT SPOTS. ALSO CHECK TO SEE THAT THE GROUND WIRE ON THE BACK IS CONNECTED AS WELL. HOPE THIS HELPS. LET ME KNOW. GOOD LUCK
