- Well, the car starts just fine like theres no problem but suddenly shuts off after about 10 seconds. I cant even try to rev the engine by pushing on the accelerator does nothing.

- I did double check at the gas station to ensure it was REGULAR UNLEADED gas, because that was my first thought as well. The check engine light isnt blinking either.

- Ok so Ive had a few people look at it and so far the only thing they are coming up with is my Electronic Immobilizer... its the only light that keeps flashing, weve tried jump starting testing it and thats the only thing we can think of. How do I fix this and is this even possible?

the gas is not the problem, u need to figure out what is going on here, loss of fuel pressure or loss of spark. Have you run a system trouble code test yet, if not you will need to have this done or buy a scan tool to read the codes

it is very possible that u have gotten your hands on some gas with water in it or some other type of contamination, it is not common buy have seen it happen more than once.

Are you sure you did not put diesel in by accident or E-85? The VW will run on regular gas(not recomended) but diesel or E-85 gas is Bad for it. The E-85 can clog up stuff. You will need to drain and flush the fuel system, a new pump might help and all filters as well. Sounds like you got E-85 or Diesel by mistake. If this is helpful, please leave feedback. Thanks, SP

- If not diesel or E-85 contamination, maybe water in the fuel. Was this a regular station you went to or one off the regular path. You could have a problem with the ECM detecting ignition and shutting down the engine. A diagnostic scan tool will detect the codes the ECM is putting out. Some auto parts stores will scan you codes for free but you have to go to them. Not all scanners are alike and they can be quite expensive. If the car was running well before this and not to excessivly high mileage I WOULD STILL QUESTION THE FUEL.

- You can get used or rebuilt theft deterent modules from a salvage yard on the dealer. I did not even think of the anti-theft in the problem. Usually the windows and inside lights quit working as a tip off. The dealer can shut off the anti-theft. It maybe as simple as removing a fuse or relay. Of this I am not certain. A new anti-theft will come with new key fob door lock remotes, a used box will render your present remotes useless. Sorry I was not of more help.
