4 liter 6 Cyl. engine: you have 14 bolts. start counting the bolts in the middle of the right (passenger) site with number 1, 2 is the middle of left side, #3 is next forward, left side, #4 forward right side, #5 backward right side, #6 backward left side, #7 two steps forward left side, #8 two steps forward right side, #9 two step backward right side, #10 two steps backward left side, #11 front left side, #12 front right side, #13 back right side, #14 back left side.
Tighten the bolt in three steps.
Step A: 22 ft-lbs Step B: 45 ft-lbs Step C: bolt #11: 100 ft-lbs, all other 110 ft-lbs
If you have a V8 engine, please come back again!

Assuming the motor is an inline six
1.Middle bolt is number 1.Clockwise torque to 22 f/lb
2.Same pattern to 45 f/lb
3. same pattern to 100 f/lb
Be sure to use loctite 592 to the threads and some head gasket sealer to both sides of the head gasket.
Hope this helps

We just put new gaskets on our 94 jeep grand cherokee laredo was runing great now something keeps blowing the eng control fuse help!!!

first place I'd look is around the perimeter of the heads (I assume you mean head gaskets?) Make sure you haven't inadvertently gotten a wire pinched in between the head & block somewhere.
