If it is rolling in park, you may have a axle broken. If the car drives fine, then this is not the problem. There is an adjustment on the transmission,it needs adjusting. The shift cable, and shifter are stopping before the trans, goes into park all the way,so adjust the cable at the transmission.

How do I fix a 1999 Bounder RV from rolling once I have put it in park?

Sounds definetly like the Trans shifter linkage needs adjusted-normally not needed unless accident damage or simple wear/loosening of linkage(usually rite at trans is the adjustment)

Car rolls while in park

sounds like your trans is not going into park. this can be a really bad problem if you let it get away from you. Trans repair shop for estimate, get a few and a guarantee with it. But as long as your emergency brake works and you don`t forget to put it on what eh heck.

Whats the problem why my jimmy rolls after being in park

You should apply the parking brake on all vehicles,
when you stop & before you let off the foot brake.
I suspect you have a broken parking pawl in the trans
Remove the trans pan & put in park, to check it out
Maybe some adjustment on linkage or worn out items
that can be resolved, but not likely able to buy parts any more,
have to find a fix & do yourself

Rolls in park

The parking brake can be bad or stuck. There is not much to them to begin with. For the transmission, there are several potential problems.

You may just need an adjustment, as the Park is on one extreme end of the shift from the rest. It may not quite be locking.

Inside the trans there is a lever called a pawl. Can't say why it is called that but it is suppose to wedge between gears notches inside the trans. This is suppose to lock the shaft. If the pawl lever is broke, it has no end to jam in its position. The broken part would be loose inside the trans.

I see that you were on a driveway. It could do it anywhere. Remember Driver training to hook front wheels toward downgrade hills and for the back of the front wheels to hook the curb on upgrades when parallel parking.

Even so, the Parking brakes are not that good to depend on when the trans does not lock in place. Take it somewhere to check trans linkage.

Car still rolls in park

Under the car, check the linkage arm. It may be loose or out of adjustment.

did you hook up the flywheel to the torque converter? the clicking and grinding noise could be the trans is in park and the flywheel is going around, or the torque converter is bound up and not properly in the pump of the trans, and the clicking and grinding could be the parking pawl trying to stop and lock the trans.(this is what stops the car from rolling) I think its a torque converter alignment problem.
