When it rains I get a leak that drips from the passenger side headliner next to the rear window in the cargo area. The dealer can't find it. Need help. This is a 2005 Jeep Liberty.

- Yes, I do have a luggage rack. The bolts that come through the roof holding the rack in placehave been re-sealed and the rain still finds its way in. Thanks for any help.

- Hi...thanks for the suggestion of it being the roof rack. The car also leaks when it is parked in my driveway. Interestingly enough I cannot get it to leak using a hose (neither can the dealer). It is only rain water that seems to be able to find its way. Do you still believe it is the the roof rack?
Sealant alone will not stop a leak where the luggage rack is leaking, if it is the L/R. I am a Pilot and you just cant imagine how water can be driven in past sealant at speed. If you are leaving it to the dealer to correct this leak, good luck. I really believe it is the rack. A window leak is to easy to correct.

how do I replace a jeep liberty 2006 front left turning signal lamp? I am trying to get the old lamp unplugged. Does the sliding red tab remain in or should I pull it out as far as it will go to extract the old lamp? Do I squeeze in the black tab underneath the red part or pull it up to unplug the old lamp? I do not want to break anything. Sometimes things need a little extra elbow grease to come apart, so I want to apply the right force, but not too much, and not knowing which part to push in or pull out to get it apart is frustrating, since I do not have a manual explaining how to do it. Thanks for any help you can provide. Ned Jacobs, St. Croix, US Virgin Islands
