Problem for Jeep 2006 Liberty
2005 Jeep Liberty rain leak
When it rains I get a leak that drips from the passenger side headliner next to the rear window in the cargo area. The dealer can't find it. Need help. This is a 2005 Jeep Liberty.

- Yes, I do have a luggage rack. The bolts that come through the roof holding the rack in placehave been re-sealed and the rain still finds its way in. Thanks for any help.Nov 12, 2009
- Hi...thanks for the suggestion of it being the roof rack. The car also leaks when it is parked in my driveway. Interestingly enough I cannot get it to leak using a hose (neither can the dealer). It is only rain water that seems to be able to find its way. Do you still believe it is the the roof rack?Clarification Request

Sealant alone will not stop a leak where the luggage rack is leaking, if it is the L/R. I am a Pilot and you just cant imagine how water can be driven in past sealant at speed. If you are leaving it to the dealer to correct this leak, good luck. I really believe it is the rack. A window leak is to easy to correct.
