You can try some a petrol fuel agent that clean the jets while drive, you will see lots of smoke iniitially but this will clear up. I a grease lighting component which you can purchase online for $10.00.

start by checking compression ,if good tune it up,plugs wires cap roror,change your fuel filter ,air cleaner ,oil ,oil filter.then time it.if still doesn't run good have some one put it on a diagnostic machine-dino.hope this helps.
Depends on what you mean by rough. Could be a cylinder misfire.They sometimes are not noticed as engine speed increases during driving or under light load as when idling in neutral but at idle under load as when stopped at a light in drive became noticable.
Could also be running rich. The causes of either are too numurous to list.Consult a good mechanic who can actually see and hear the problem to put you on the right track.
Take the EGR Valve off and clean it with a non-chlronated brake cleaner and a wire brush.Sounds like the EGR Valve is stuck in the open position this will make the motor idle rough but running over 45 mph its smooth.
We had a similar problem. There was a crack in the air intake plenum gasket. Spraying carb cleaner around it can tell if that's the problem. It will clear up for a few seconds if it is. Not too bad to replace.

CHECK FOR A LEAKING INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET, USE A CAN OF CARB SPRAY AND SPRAY AROUND THE TOP OF THE ENGINE, IF U HIT ON A LEAK U WILL HEAR THE ENG CHANGE TONE AND IDLE RPM.
change plug and wire if its been a while most cars have 90000 miles platinum plugs in them.but the wires wear before plugs.so change plugs and wires.+clean fuel injectors .change fuel filter and air filter.if car still run rough your idling to low.have idling check .
