REPLACED BATTERY,ALL DASH LIGHTS COME ON EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS EXCEPT WHEN TURNING KEY TO START ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.DASH LIGHTS STAY ON.

ignition switch had been replaced in 2005.(did not know this at time of question).we were using the old key in the new lock.when using new key problem solved.
