If you are talking about the fuel filler neck or fuel filler hose, the easiest way is to remove the bed by removing the six bolts that attach it to the chassis. also disconnect the light harnesses and lift up your bed. don't forget to first release the fuel filler neck by removing three small screws at the gas filler port. then remove the hose from the tank. it is attached to the tank by a clamp. I just did two of them and it is fairly simple. It should take you about three hours if you have all the tools.

My 2005 Saturn Ion failed smog due to Catalyst serial number D-280-78 they said it was tampered with. Why? Never had it worked on

Try taking it to another smog station. Never heard of anything like this. I had a smog license for 35 years and am very familiar with how it works here in Calif but not other states,

Fuel wont get to the fuel tank from the intake hose.

By "intake hose" are you referring to the filler neck? If it's not going in the tank, where IS it going? If it's not spilling out onto the ground, it can only be going into the tank. Is it possible that your gas gage on your dashboard isn't working properly? More information, please.

Hole in the smog line that leads across the gas tank.

You should be able to put a piece of rubber fuel line over the section with a hole, clamp both ends. If it's hard to get to, run a long piece of rubber fuel line (inside diameter big enough to fit over smog line), cut the original smog line, attach new rubber fuel line over cut section, wiggle it over the tank to other side where you can cut original line again, and attach both ends with hose clamps. Let me know how it goes, it should work, you can even go around the tank front or back, just make sure you use zip ties or something to keep the hose from hanging down.

Brake line behind fuel tank leaking

You can just feed a new line over the tank and try to clip it onto the existing one. Best of luck, hope the job goes ok.
