On a 2.5 litre Disconnect battery (+) ,remove exhaust manifold, remove intake manifold (leave the throttle body on it) of course valve cover and then head bolts. If there is a accessory bolted to the front of head just remove what is directly attached to the head. I would recommend replacing the timing chain and gears, and water pump while your at it (Preventive maintenance)
