2005 Ford Escape XLT recently the od light went on no codes though for the od light, but codes for the defrost. I just had the selenoid, ekr valve and torque converter replaced. At times rough idling whats going on here.

If the OD light is blinking you do have codes stored. Your code reader may not be capable of reading them, but every time a warning light is on, there's a code stored. Always.
The OD light flashes when transmission code has been tripped. The only way to find out what it is and how to fix it is to have the truck hooked up to the proper scan tool. (trans code scanner is needed).
