My 2003 Chrysler pt cruiser's horn is really weak.I went to get it inspected and failed because my horn is really weak. Everything else is working properly (lights, signal indicator, and everything else that runs solely on the battery's power) but my horn was the thing that caused my car to fail inspection. They said that it wasn't loud enough. Any ideas??

Could be a short in the wire to the horn. I would inspect it under the hood. The horn has power even when the key is off, so a short could cause this. If it`s in the steering wheel, I would let a professional work on it, since working around the airbag sensors is dangerous.
The internals of the horn failed or one of the two pitches went out, replacement is quite easy. You can either buy a direct fit horn from Chrysler or go to an auto parts store and buy a generic horn. The generic horn will require you to cut the wires, but it is quite easy and directions are usually provided
