1995 Saturn SL2 DOHC motor. New crank sensor (cps), All brass new coolant temp sensor. all injectors ohm good. new map sensor. drained gas and added fresh, new fuel filter, fuel is 42 psi, regulator is good and tried disconnecting and reconnecting everything, spark is good with coils jumping the gap at coil towers, noid light doesnt light but have 12 volts on plug. everything is new and or in spec with all alldata specs. only thing i can think of is pcm? any other ideas. Car does run on starting fluid so it is definately a fuel issue and all fuel related items see in check. From what I have gathered if a short occurs in either the ignition module, cps or injector the system will not let any injector pulse. but all are good. and only other item in the chain is the pcm. any idea where to check for breaks in wiring that are usually at fault? i guess i just need ideas to bank off of... I installed the new motor 14000 miles ago and the car is as new as most actual new cars. just running out of ideas.
I would have to say first check the fuel injectors fuse in the under hood fuse block if blown replace it,sometimes the fuel injector harness rubs thru anywhere from where the harness comes thru the firewall all the way up to the injectors,,,if fuse is good and no bare wires to injectors, check the wires to the ignition module,,,,and if all checks ok,i would replce the ignition module,,you could have spark from it but it could not be sending the signal back to the pcm to fire the injectors,,,and if all that fails try a pcm,but i think youll find it before that,,i seen this 3 times and each time it was a wire rubbed thru near the fuel rail and it grounds out and blows the injector fuse,
hope this helped
