How do I unlock the fuel door for my 2001 X-5 BMW.

How do I unlock the fuel door for my 2001 X-5 BMW.

- Tried that, Fuel door still does not open, the vehicle is actully my g-friends. I think it might be the actuator/lock that is not working. G-friend doesnt remember how she used to open it (yea,Iknow) and has had several electronical problems..But she will not get rid of the car.

This sounds silly but with the vehicle unlocked you should be able to just push in on the door and it should spring open. Refer to your owners manual
