This fault code will never cause a no start, are you sure the battery didn't play up on you? Have them test it with a load tester.

How do i fix a p01133 error code on my 96 beretta

DTC P1133 HO2S Insufficient Switching Sensor 1
What other codes , need to diagnose those codes before P1133 !
Important: If any DTCs are set (except P1133 or P1134), go to those DTCs before proceeding with this diagnostic table. If the vehicle is misfiring is there a DTC P0300 Engine Misfire Detected code ?

I was getting a p0420 code on my 2001 alero and now when I reset the light I am getting a p1133 code. I did put gas treatment into the full tank of gas and then the p1133 code came on. any suggestion on...

You never replaced the exhaust converter, ruined by the
coolant--- PO420

The P1133 is probably an O2 Sensor also ruined
I would replace them all.

Who ever did the head gasket should have done
all that

Don't waste your money on anything that goes
into a fuel tank, not necessary, nor does it fix anything

Showing check engine - then the code reader is p1133 and p0171

miles...?
P1135 Air-Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit Response.
the air fuel sensor malfunction is the main problem and thats causing the code p0171.
Hard to start o long cranking time to starter is gona be the first symtoms.
replace upstream. (the air fuel Sensor and the oxygen sensor is the same)

Codes p1153 -p1140 -p1133-p0174

P0174 Basically this means that an O2 sensor in bank 2 detected a lean condition (too much oxygen in the exhaust). On V6/V8/V10 engines, Bank 2 is generally the side of the engine that doesn't have cylinder #1.
P0140 Basically this means the an O2 sensor in Bank 1 detected a lean condition, same as mentioned above. Bank 1 is the side where cylinder #1 is.
In the vast majority of cases, simply cleaning the MAF sensor does the trick. Consult your service manual for it's location if you need help. I find it's best to take it off and spray it with electronics cleaner or brake cleaner. Make sure you are careful not to damage the MAF sensor, and make sure it's dry before reinstalling.

P1133 and P1153 indicate that the HO25 Sensor has gone bad. There the O2 sensor to the left and right bank at the exhaust manifold. When the engine first start's the PCM runs on a open loop and ignores the O2 readings till it reaches it's operating temperature. Once the operating temperature has been reached the diagnostic will only run once per ignition cycle and if the PCM detects a lesser then specified value, a DTC of P1133 or P1153 will come up.
Once the problem has been repaired, after 3 start cycle will reset the MIL light. If the O2 is just dirty and slow to heat up try cycling the ignition start 3 times and the light should go off if the O2 sensor does not fail.
Try cleaning the MAF first and see if the light comes off after a few ignition cycle, If the service light is still on you can always have Auto Zone clear the DTC codes and see if it comes back which then check the left and right bank wire harness to the O2 sensors.
Good luck and hope this helps, keep me posted.

Code p1133

GM p1133 = Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 1
more than likely you have a bad oxygen sensor...the primary oxygen sensor in the exhaust BEFORE the catalytic converter.

Code: P1133

P1133 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor
You will need to check the output signal from this O2 sensor, if the voltage low (.10-.25 volts) try spraying propane into the air cleaner to see if the O2 volts go up, it should go to around .75 volts, if nothing happens then the O2 sensor is bad, bank #1 O2 is on the same side as #1 cylinder
