The dealer will tell you it is a cluster replacement, but there actually is a bulb back there ( if you can see the numbers, they are just not illuminated ).

Removing the dash can be time consuming, but starting with the knee panel, remove the screws at the bottom. This will expose the screws to the bottom of the dash. Next remove the main headlamp switch trim, and there are 2 ( 3 ) screws behind this that also need to be removed to get the dash trim out.
Once the dash trim is out, you will see the screws holding the cluster in. Remove these, and you can lay the dash on a towel on the steering wheel column. The bulb holder is one of those twist in from the back types, that some auto stores carry ( they are not just 194 or 39 bulbs ).

Time consuming, and Ford used just about every bolt head size from 7 to 10 back there I seem to recall.

Suggestions on why the wrench light would come on my 2010 Ford F150, 4.6 engine? I already added trans fluid and it went off but came back on after driving it for awhile.

Usually comes on for maintenence reminder. Is your oil change percentage counter low when you scroll through your message center? Sometimes a burned out bulb will also illuminate this symbol an some makes and models

My led odometer, temperature and trip indicator light went out on my 2004 F150, is there a separate light bulb for this? or is it a backlit led device?

Yes, this is a bulb specific to the odometer area .

Find some directions online for a gauge overlay to remove the cluster from the dash, and the bulb is in a quarter twist holder right behind the odometer.

There are some threads at F150online.com, in the technical articles / How to forum for the cluster overlay that might help with removing the cluster.
