the blower wires should be exposed on the back of firewall under hood if your lucky.
and there should be a relay for this too ..should
and a fuse .. should
dont forget the acc switch connection in key switch too
if the compressor kicks in but not fan/blower then the switch is likely good if its not a 2 piece/pole switch
turn off the car. now only turn on the fan and listen for the relays an find their location is there single or double relay
now find the fuses an see what each controls
access to the fan is sometimes in the glove compartment or just below.
listen to what the fan does or tries to do in quiet car with only it running.
now wipe off sweat drive to mech.
it might be the fan is running but its stuck

it is not a relay per se, it is a module in what is called the Variable Relay Control Module (VCRM) and it is located in front of the radiator, under the headlight cover on the driver side-it is a rectangular module about 8-10 inches by 5 to 7 inches with a large harness connected to it. Along with containing the relay for the radiator cooling fan, it also has the relay for the injectors and the ac compressor.
I suggest having the cooling system checked for trapped air not allowing proper coolant circulation; have it checked for a possible head gasket failure, this can sometimes be noted by observing a "perculating" in the radiator when the engine is running with the cap off. Steam coming from the tailpipe on a previously warmed engine or the apperance of "milky " looking oil on the dipstick.
the relay is in the VCRM which is a box-looking module located in front of the radiator on the driver side-remove the panel above the headlights, that's where it is. They can be found on ebay (used) for about $50-60 plus shipping, or check Lincoln forum for sale sections, it is a very specific piece of electronic equipment and it serves multiple duties like fuel injection and air conditioning compressor. You can use one out of a 94 or 95 Mark VIII also. I have a couple of spares. with these cars you need them.
It is the blower motor,or the blower relay module, near the blower motor, and check the ac/heat control unit,if the blower ,and relay module turn out to be good.
