1999 chevy venture, windsheild wipers only work on high , and does not go into park position unless you are close to park position

I would be looking at replacing the wiper motor....the wiper switch is just that, a switch to tell the wiper motor what to do.....most of the wiring is housed internal of the wiper motor such as the park circuit and the speeds........osunds like an internal fault.....replacement would be advised

Driver side wiper doesn't work. It moves if you hold it away from windsheild. Did I strip it from frozen snow on windsheild

remove black plastic cap at base of wiper arm, tighten 14mm nut underneath cap while wipers are off and arm is in normally parked position ,replace balck plastic cap and you should be good to go!you might want to snug up the nut on the other one too!

I pulled the wiper arm up to clean under it and now I cannot get the wiper arm to go back to the down position. I understand it's probably something simple.

first remove wiper arm again and ignition on then switch on wiper without arm, let it run few second and switch off wiper wait few second and switch off ignition, now it has come to the rest position so you have to install wiper arm at rest position. don't let it to move when you tight it hold it by hand, I think this information be help you if you think right way what i mean. is this information helped you?

Windsheild wiper does not remain in contact for the full stroke. The blade actually raises off the windsheild.1995 volvo wagon. three sets of blades, two sets replaced by mechanics.

Try this:

With ignition on, turn on wiper switch. When wiper arm gets to point where blade does not touch screen, turn off ignition switch so that wipers do not return to park position. It may take a few goes to stop arm in the right position so repeat process until it is in the best position.

Check main wiper arm and bend slightly towards windscreen so that blade touches screen and there is some spring pressure from the arm to keep blade on screen. Also check that there is no interference between main arm and the section which supports the rubber blade. If you get blade chatter as the arm sweeps, twist the end of the main arm slightly in the opposite direction to the movement that produces the chatter. It may take a bit of trial and error to get it all right.

Wipers

You have two problems. The first is the wipers turn off and stay in the upright position and do not close. The motor is fine. There is a steal 'close' tab that has been bent out of position. You just need to push the steal tab back into position. You can use a chisel or screwdriver to pound it back into the 90 degree position.

The windsheild washer motor probably needs to be replaced
