My 1999 GMC Suburban is hard to start first thing in the morning. It has to turn over for a while before it starts, almost like it has to wait for the fuel to get to the engine. After the first time, it starts fine all day. Could it be losing fuel pressure after it sits for a while? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Yup!
The fuel pressure valve is stuck open and drains the fuel (via gravity) back to the tank.
Check the fuel pressure regulator / replace.
You might want to put a bottle of "complete fuel system" cleaner ($8 AutoZone) in the gas (not diesel) tank, next fill-up. It may do the trick in a couple of days.

Thanks for your reply! I'll add the fuel system cleaner tonight and check the pressure regulator this weekend. Thanks again.
