My saturn was running fine. Then it would shift into every gear very hard. We just changed the transmission fluid and it seemed to run fine for about 2 days. Now it is shifting hard again. I have 2 little kids and I need my car to be working!!
Well if it shifts very hard into every gear that means the pressure control solenoid in the trans went bad and it causing the trans to go to max line pressure thats why it shifts so hard,,,it does that so you can still drive it even thou it broken,anyhow the PC solenoid is under the trans pan which is on the TOP of the trans under the battery,,,,not too hard a job to do, the parts are about $100 labor might be about $200,,,easy fix,,could be alot more,,,and if you dont fix it ,it will break other stuff in the trans and cost alot more,,,

I have a 2001 sl2 and it shifts funny.you have to get up to or past 35mph before it wll shift and the rpms wll go lower.same when you come down from like 55 or whatever,when you get to 35mph again it feels like you just down shifted into 1st gear.had it flushed and new fluid puti n car only has 60,000 on it.
