sounds like your fuel pump is going out. Next time it happens remove fuel cap and have someone turn ignition to the on position not crank. You should hear the fuel pump run for 2-4 second. If you don't hear it come on then try beating your gas tank hard with a rubber mallet while Ignition is in on position.listen for fuel pump to come on. If it starts after this then fuel pump it ?s.

It sounds like the fuel drainback valve is allowing fuel pressure to bleed off overnight. In some cases you can add an external one, in others a new fuel pump is required to be installed, check with your favorite mechanic.
I saw what you replaced, didn't see any testing? What testing have you done? Make sure battery has a full charge?
When the problem is ongoing, have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes?
If you have the spider fuel system, that system is noted for problems.
You may be having an intermittent failure with the fuel pressure regulator - checking the fuel pressure when the truck won't start may pinpoint this problem. If the pressure looks OK, this same problem can be caused by the ignition system as well (ignition coil or control module).
Am I correct in understanding that the truck will start and stall out and then keep running on the restart? If so I would be looking at the cold start circuit. Perhaps a loose wire or corrosion. Maybe the cold start valve is going bad. Hope this helps.
Try replacing the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure at the shredder valve. Low fuel pressure from a week fuel pump or dirty fuel filter will cause hard starts, a bad ground will also do the same thing so check the ground wire for the fuel pump which is separate from the main wire harness to the fuel pump sending unit.
