Unfortunately, if you find the correct fuse and remove it, you will turn off that light - and a number of others that you likely do not want turned off. This bulb is likely part of the dash display lighting system.

I would think it would be best to try to get into the console and remove that bulb if you don't wish to have someone try to trouble shoot the circuit and find out what is wrong.

On most cars, the dash lighting is controlled by a fuse in the inside fuse box, likely somewhere around the steering wheel.
