I would think the anti-lock brake system would prevent you from being able to lock up the brakes. If the truck is hard to stop, there could be a glazing on the pads and rotors.
their is bleeding valves on the brake caliper remove tire or crawl under valve is 5/16 rench or 3/8 pump brake peddal and have someone else open valve and quickly close repeat till air is gone
Good question, on the antilock system is a bleader too and bleade it the same way you bleade the caliper. After all is done adjust the rear brakes, they should have a drag to them.
The master cylinder you have purchased is faulty. Take it back and exchange it. I'm assuming it was purchased at somewhere like AutoZone?! It is not uncommon to get bum hydraulic and electrical parts that have been remanufactured. They will exchange it for you. Then, once you start bleeding, make sure the rear brakes are adjusted properly and start at the right rear to bleed. So R/R, L/R, R/F, and last is the L/F. This should take care of your issue.
Probably want to take in and have checked out by dealer or mechanic. Sounds like proportioning valve. ??? Does it have anti lock brakes??? ABS light on?
Adjust your rear brake shoes. Then rebleed the system. Start at the master cylinder Bleed master first then the wheel furthest away from the master (right rear then left rear then right front then left front. Do that and your pedal should be good.
