Why four barrels do not open 65 4100 carb

The choke linkage is not properly hooked up or adjusted. The throttle linkage is not adjusted properly or there isn't enough vacuum. The choke linkage has a tab that prevents the 4 barrels from opening when the choke is engaged. There is a tab on the throttle linkage from the front 2 barrels that will engage the secondaries when they rotate past a certain point. Vacuum opens the top plates on the secondaries.

I installed a holley 4 barrel carburetor in my 1983 buick regal , but it starts fine but won't idle ?

Check your vacuum hoses. Holley aftermarket may not have as many vacuum ports as OEM QuadraJets, and you may have a vacuum line that isn't plugged into anything...or you may have a vacuum leak around the carb base gasket. Also, does the Holley have an electric or manual choke? Is it connected?

1986 cadillac rebuilt rochester quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor .Started car right up .problem is starts with choke engaged and instead of kicking down once warmed up it reaves higher.its not flooding out...

It sounds like whoever rebuilt the carb hooked the choke linkage up the wrong way. The mechanism can go together wrong and still fit. One of the pieces is a counterweight to trip the linkage off and it is likely in there wrong. It is usually painted green. The linkage will have to come apart and be redone. I've rebuilt a few and never had any luck finding a good diagram of how it is supposed to go together. There is one piece that has small steps on it, and when the choke is activated it is supposed to lock out the back barrels. The steps are what makes your engine rev higher when you try to kick it down. You have to play with it, put it together, close the choke and then trip the throttle. If it doesn't open try again. Sorry but hope this helps.

Secondary on my rochester quadrajet 4bbl wont open up

It could be several things. It's quite possible that lack of use has made them hard to open. If that's the case then a little penetrating oil and some gentle persuasion will get them working. The top butterflies work on vacuum so you will have to push on them by hand.
It could be that the vacuum pot on the front passenger side of the carb is not working properly. It should connect by a short vacuum line to the top of the carb on the same side. Unplug the hose from one end, stick a finger over it so you don't lose vacuum. There is a long rod off the back of it that goes to the secondary's that should slide when you unhook and hook it back up.
The linkage on the driver's side should move the lower butterflies. Work the throttle linkage by hand, with the car off, and see if they will open. If they don't then liberally spray the linkage with something like WD-40 and work it back and forth. Spray both sides of the carb at the base and in the middle to lubricate the shafts for the butterflies. Work the linkage and spray and it should free up. Make sure that someone hasn't bent the tab that pushes the secondary's open, out of the way.
If the carb has been worked on lately, especially the choke linkage there are lockouts there. If the choke linkage has been taken off and put back on, these lockouts may not be in the right positions. There is a small tab that drops down when the choke is engaged but it can flop around if not correctly installed. You will need a diagram to get the linkage on properly. Most any rebuild kit for that age carb will have a picture of it.
These are your most likely problems. Hope this helps.

How to put on a Holley carburetor on my 1984 camaro? I am taking off an electrical one and replacing it with a single pumper holley. Is their any thing else i will have to purchase?

What do you mean "electrical one?" If you are taking off a Quadrajet, and putting the Holley on, NO it will not fit, You will need to replace the intake manifold.
