I am looking for the rear seat for my husband's 67 Galaxy 500 fastback does anyone know where I might find one?

If there springs and frames are there, you could just go with refurbing the padding and get factory color/style upholstery. Most upholstery shops could handle it.
Try this site - ( that stuff ain't cheap !! )

Hello! My 1993 Volvo 850 Glt driver seat recline back and no coming back.what is the procedure. The key should in position 1, 2 ?

The cable that runs the seat back has twisted so many times it has disengaged itself from the seat back transmission. Pull the upper upholstery up and remove the cable housing from the transmission. Remove the metal end by trimming it off . Remove the piece of housing from inside the end reinstall the end, crimp it just a little and put it back in the transmission use the button and return the seat to the upright position and use the memory buttons to keep it positioned there.

2001 v70 rear seat will not fold down

Cause is a broken catch linkage - weak bit of plastic

You need two long screwdrivers to lever the metal mechanism

Ease back the upholstery on the side of the seat

look for a small shiny roller to lever upwards, and a further lever to push backwards.

This releases the catch

Front seats are powered yet will not move .They will go back and forth but the back part of seat will not tilt.

When you move the switch for the backrest, listen for a motor noise. If you can here the motor running, the most common problem is the cable from the motor to the gear set that moves the seat back. To replace this cable you will have to remove some of the upholstery to gain access.

How do I access the brake light on the passenger side of a 2007 Volvo XC90?

You need to remove the upholstery from that side. It is fixed with wide, plastic knobs. Turn them open 1/4 turn and remove the upholstery.

The lights are assembled into a plastic 'cradle'. If you're new to this, only remove one bulb at the time and replace it.

Base of seat, has foam worn away inside, so as you can feel the metal. area where you swing right leg out, on the bit where the outer edge of seat base sticks up, as in sports seats.

Best thing to do is go to the Auto Salvage and look for the same seat for you car. The years are interchangeable so you don't have to pick out a seat from a 8 year old car but from a car newer. As long as the seat is the same, it should fit and less work for you. Good luck and just take your time on searching for that perfect seat to replace your old one, or you can take it to a Automotive upholstery place and they can replace the worn out seat cushion.
