Vw p1247 code fix

P1247 Needle Lift Sensor Circ. Open/Short to B+

The needle lift sensor is part of injector #3. Check for damaged wiring or corroded wiring harness connector leading to that injector.

What is a fault log

They have to do with the speed sensor and gear ratio on the vehicle. I wasn't sure what engine you had so I went with the 2.0 lter. The P0722 can cause the other code (P0730). In most cases it's wiring at the plug the sensor itself. Below I gave you the testing procedures up to testing the sensor. You will need a ohm meter to be able to do it. Remember this is for the 2.0 liter engine. If you have a different engine feel free to email me at [email protected] with your information including the codes as I will never remember. There are further tests if the sensor tests good but you will need more diagrams and such (wiring mostly). Hope this helps....

2006 jetta tdi, ambient temperature location? my a/c quit working and i have no power at the compressor plug, it is up on charge, the dash temperature sensor quit working this winter, this not reading...

the sensor should be located behind the front bumper grill.look through the bumper grill and you should see the ambient temp sender.on the dash, does the display where the temperature used to read have 3 dash lines?if so there is an open circuit in the wiring to the sensor.this will cause the aircon not to work..good luck.

Could you tell me what the Jetta TDI diagnostic code 638 is?

There is no DTC codes for VW 638, your going to need to get the right code There is a P1638 and that is Data Bus Power train missing message from clutch control. which means there is not communication from the TCM to the clutch control. (there is no signal from the Sensor to the ECM) replace sensor and check the wire harness. Good luck and hope this helps.
