Bank 2 is the cylinder in the front of the engine compartment near the radiator, the O2 is either in the exhaust manifold of the bank or in the exhaust pipe off the manifold, round about the size of a jumbo magic marker, you need a special O2 sensor socket to remove it in some cases, if it is in the open then a 7/8 open end wrench will work.

System too lean bank 2 mazda mpv

Code 174 means the O2 sensor is telling the computer the fuel mixture on bank two is too lean and the computer can not make the injectors give enough fuel to make it rich.
The problem could be the O2 sensor, or it really could be a fuel problem.
Bank two is the side with cylinder number 2 on a V6 engine.

I am getting a P0031, P1512, & P0421 code

P0031 - most likely pointing to a failed O2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 1 is located before the catalytic converter)

P0421 - failed catalytic converter or a failed O2 sensor

P1512 - intake manifold shutter valve is stuck - may be caused by the O2 sensor, but may not

I recommend replacing your O2 sensor first and see what happens
