Your blower motor needs replacing, unless theres a bare wire to it somewhere, take off connections to the motor and if fuse doesn't blow, that will tell you if motor is defective

Cooling fan keeps blowing a fuse on my 2000 maxima #1 fan. #2 fan works when a/c is turned on

It's is very possible. You may be correct however don't dismiss the wiring. The wiring may intermittently short with movement/vibration and cause fuse to blow but most likely you are correct in thinking that your fan needs replacement.

Engine fan fuse blows every few days2001 volvo s40

Fuses are there for a reason, if they keep blowing it stands a chance your fan motor is on the fritz and overloading the fuse so it pops. Make sure the tempreture sensor is working ok and not keeping the fan running when it should be turning off.

1988 bmw 325is heater keeps blowing 30amp fuse, tried to find a short but me heater blower fan isnt working what could be the problem. cant keep a fuse without blowing

More than likely the fan motor its self is short to ground try to unhook the wires to the fan motor and install a new fuse and then turn the fan on with the wires removed and if the fuse is still good you know it is the fan motor its self
