Could be a number of thing's wrong .Without hooking a factory scan tool and checking for DTC'S diagnostic trouble codes , viewing scan data i would only be guessing . Your vehicle speed control is computer controlled . switches are low voltage input to the PCM - engine computer , Vehicle also has electronic throttle control . Electronically controlled DC motor on the throttle plate is how the computer controls the gas going into the engine. Gas pedal has position sensors that tell the computer how much your pushing on the gas , sensors on the throttle body tell the PCM if it is opening the throttle enough . VERY COMPLEX !

well you've done the electrical, it may be an injector problem or a compression fault, no 3 and no 7 are not related to each other, im sure you got the right wires on the plugs so look elsewhere
