Pretty sure it does...if you have one it should be on the fender or firewall near the master cylinder. It's about three inches long made of ceramic. with a wire connector on both ends.

I have a 1999 Jeep Wrangler and my fuel gauge quit working. Soon after my fuel pump went out. Replaced pump but fuel sending unit tested good. Also my check engine light stays on.

You will need to scan the PCM for stored faults. The PCM will receive the resistance value from the fuel sending unit and sends this info via the data bus to the instrument cluster. There could be a wiring issue from the sending unit to the PCM, so I would do a resistance test on the wires to check for continuity.

I have a 1994 wrangler.must crank starter multipul times for fuel to reach fuel rail on 2.4 or 2.5 4 cyl.Once finally starts will run great all day and start.Next day starts hard again.I replaced fuel

replace the fuel pump, the check valve that holds pressure on the fuel is in the fuel pump. The fuel in the lines is draining back into the tank

94 wrangler 4.0 fuel pump wont turn on

If your check engine light does not illuminate when you turn the ignition on then your jeep ecu is in need of repair. The check engine light has to be on for the fuel pump to get power. Try leaving the ignition key in the on position for a few minutes to see if the check engine light does eventually come on and if the fuel pump starts to work then.

Keep blowing a fuse under hood in 98 jeep wrangler that will stop me from getting fuel and replaced the fuel pump after i got the problem, and it still keeps doin it. would run for a min or two then fuse...

Measure resistance between the fuse box and the fuel pump. You most likely have high resistance in the wire. Also check between the fuse box and body ground for resistance

How do I test the ballast resister on my 1995 jeep wrangler? I have a multimeter but no manual. I have no power to the fuel pump.

The Multimeter has several functions. It test voltages [a/c, d.c. (+ plus, - minus)], then the RESISTANCE test to test 'ballast resistors". If the tester has a on-off switch, make sure that the scitch is OFF. If you can disconnect one side of the resistor, do so !! Place (+plus) side of probe on DISCONNECTED side, turn meter ON, place other side of probe (- minus)on other side of resistor. You should mesure the resistance you see written on the ballast. IF YOU CAN'T DISCONNECT ONE SIDE, just follow the same rules WITHOUT DISCONNECTING one side.
NOTE:: Rustyrooster, what Salkim08 said is true, but he simplifed it. Connected to the ballast on either side or both sides is a circukt (ckt.) that could effect the measurement.

93 wrangler 2.5 will crank but won't start. I pour gas down the #1 cylinder and put the plug back in and it will crank for about 8 seconds then sputter to life and idle and run fine. Shut it off and try to...

Yes...check the pump, filter and output. Also check the ballast resistor for the pump. Stop pouring fuel into the cylinder...instead, use carb cleaner and spray into throttle body (excess fuel in one cyl will contaminate your engine oil). If it runs normally after you get it started likely the pump is good (unless you have problems at high rpm's under power) Regulator is likely good as well...default is to more fuel not less.

1994 Jeep Wrangler hard to keep running

The fuel pump is located in the gas tank and the filter is right in front of the tank on the inside of the frame. I have never worked on that particular throttle body, but if it has a throttle position sensor, that could be what your problem is.
