Question about 2003 GMC Yukon XL
My 2003 GMC Yukon XL occasionally stalls in traffic, sometimes even on the interstate. After a few attempts at cranking the engine, it will usually start up again, and run fine for several more minutes, hours, days, or even weeks. These episodes are becoming more frequent (in the past few days), and have even happened while at idle. My guess is that its fuel-system related, but where should I start? I tend to search out the cheapest gasoline prices, and fear that my frugality will prove an expensive mistake. Are their any fuel additives that might be useful at this point? Any other advice or suggestions will be most appreciated.
Sounds like a spark timing issue. dist/coils or plugs. the only other thing and this is weird-the coolant temp sensor

Are your rpms at idle low? If so, remove and clean your throttle body with throttle body cleaner i.e. Gummout carb and throttle body cleaner. This will return vehicle to original factory rpm levels.
