Question about Chevrolet C2500
I have a 71 chevy pick up truck with a turbo 350 that has been sitting in my garge for 14 years. I just got it running again and it will not go into reverse. What should I be looking for?
Make sure the fluid is at the proper level and the vacuum line is connected with no cracks or leaks.
If that doesn't do it, make sure the linkage is actually putting it into reverse. Of course you should only do this check with the car shut off.
