Question about 1991 Honda Accord
Our 1991 beautiful Honda Accord is sitting in garage, and won't start. I have had it in for service many many times and next day it won't start. Many new batteries, etc, etc. Now it has sat for six months and it is gathering dust. It has 38,000 miles. Two questions, now we might want to sell it. Does anyone have a better idea to fix it, and if we want to sell it how much should we ask? I have told people on its history, but many people still want to buy the car.
A 91 Accord w/ 38 K miles is amazing. Especially if its garage kept. You should have no problem getting good money for it spite the repair. You did not give much detail as to what causes it to go dead battery wise. Alternator could be not holding charge . Also if it just cranks over Hondas are known for having Distributor go kaput.
Good luck but I would buy it for good cash if I were in your city

If it has an alarm on it, it can drain the batt. over the time it is sitting, However, going down overnight means it has another drain on it. Check these, radiator cooling fan continuosly running, light left on in cabin, trunk,or underhood. Other than these, it would take a DC Ampmeter placed over Batt. terminal to check for drain and move from Batt. source through wiring to locate drain or ground.
