Question about 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe
My Tahoe was driving fine then stalled. It will start but after ideling for a minute it dies.
I can tell you with near certainty this is the fuel pump, located on top of the gas tank. My Tahoe is the same year and at about 105,000 it acted the same way. Be prepared for the cost. The complete OEM assembly is $600. I was advised that GM has three different part numbers available for a fuel tank assembly for this vehicle, so it's best to stick with them rather than the aftermarket unit. They upgraded the electrical connector and you'll want to take advantage of that. With labor, it will cost about $1,000.
