Fuel pressure is good. If you are not getting any spark or power to control module and coil packs, then crank sensor is most likely bad. You can test all sensors with an ohmmeter. You can go to autozone.com and register for full free online repair manual with everything you could need.

How do you bleed a diesel pump jeep Cherokee turbo diesel 3.1 5 cylinder 2001

we dont have this engine here, USA.
but i have the WG jeep book,
starting page 12 , chapter 14

FUEL INJECTION PUMP BLEEDING
(1) If the fuel injection pump has been replaced,
air should be bled at the overflow valve before
attempting to start engine.
(a) Loosen the overflow valve (Fig. 18) at the
rear of the injection pump.
(b) Place a towel below the valve.
WARNING: WHEN CRANKING THE ENGINE TO
BLEED AIR FROM THE INJECTION PUMP, THE
ENGINE MAY START. PLACE THE TRANSMISSION
IN NEUTRAL OR PARK AND SET PARKING BRAKE
BEFORE ENGAGING THE STARTER MOTOR.
CAUTION: Do not engage the starter motor for
more than 30 seconds at a time. Allow 2 minutes
between cranking intervals.
(2) Crank the engine for 30 seconds at a time to
allow air trapped in the injection pump to vent out
the fuel injector drain tubes. Continue this procedure
until the engine starts. Observe the previous WARNING
and CAUTION.
(3) Tighten overflow valve.
HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL LINE BLEEDING
WARNING: THE INJECTION PUMP SUPPLIES HIGH-
-PRESSURE FUEL OF APPROXIMATELY 45,000 KPA
(6,526 PSI) TO EACH INDIVIDUAL INJECTOR
THROUGH THE HIGH-PRESSURE LINES. FUEL
UNDER THIS AMOUNT OF PRESSURE CAN PENETRATE
THE SKIN AND CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY.
WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES AND ADEQUATE PROTECTIVE
CLOTHING AND AVOID CONTACT WITH
FUEL SPRAY WHEN BLEEDING HIGH-PRESSURE
FUEL LINES.
WARNING: DO NOT BLEED AIR FROM THE FUEL
SYSTEM OF A HOT ENGINE. DO NOT ALLOW FUEL
TO SPRAY ONTO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD WHEN
BLEEDING AIR FROM THE FUEL SYSTEM.
Bleed air from one injector at time.
(1) Loosen the high-pressure fuel line fitting at
the injector (Fig. 19).
(2) Crank the engine until all air has been bled
from the line. Do not operate the starter motor
for longer than 30 seconds. Wait 2 minutes
between cranking intervals.
(3) Start the engine and bleed one injector at a
time until the engine runs smoothly.

In the am my engine will crank but wont start until i pump the gas peddel 20 times then it starts, and will start everytime all day next morning wont star In the am its like it isnt getting gas??

Pumping the gas pedal on a fuel injected car doesn't really do anything.
However, cranking the engine for an extended period of time could "pump up" the fuel pressure.
You should have about 35psi in the fuel line when you first crank the engine. If the pressure is low, it could take 30-60 seconds to build up that pressure to get the engine to start. Min pressure is around 35-40psi. The pump in the tank could be leaking pressure back into the tank overnight, or the pump relay could be faulty.

I have a 03 mitsubishi galant need to get it running again. Just had intank fuel pump replaced. Car wants to start but, won't turn over... Help me please!!!

By won't turn over, do you mean it cranks over but won't start, or it won't even crank? If the starter is cranking the engine, check the fuel pressure or verify the pump is working. Just turning the key to on, not start, should turn the pump on for a couple of seconds, to put fuel in the line and up to the engine. If you have fuel pressure, check for spark. If you have spark, check the fuel injector circuit.

If the engine won't crank, you need to check the state of your battery, it should be 12.6 volts to be fully charged. If it is good, check both battery cables for clean, tight connections, check for a good ground connection, and the positive cable that attaches to the starter-make sure that connection is tight. If still no crank, take the starter off to be tested.

Where is crankshaft position sensor located 1996 gmc sierra 1500

The crankshaft position sensor is located on the right-side (passenger side) of the engine. At the rear of the engine, behind the starter. You need to remove the starter to remove the crank sensor. Remember to disconnect the battery first. The starter can short against the cross member.

Starter?

Lets start at the beginning.
Are you saying the engine does not crank, or does not start ?
Either way, pumping the gas pedal has no affect on anything with starting the engine.
But cranking the engine for an extended period of time could.
If the engine is cranking but not starting, the problem could be a lack of fuel. The pump relay powers the pump for 3 seconds when you turn the key switch on, then has to have oil pressure to keep powering the pump.
If the pump relay is defective, or the check valve in the pump, you may not have enough fuel pressure when you first crank the engine.
Checking fuel pressure before and after cranking the engine would answer that question.
If the engine is not cranking, then something could be wrong with the starter or the flywheel.

1996 suburban with 5.7l have good fuel pressure, sparks at the plugs, cranks with starter fluid but wont crank when i disconnect the crank sensor.

when you say good fuel pressure is it 55 psi with the key on and engine off? any thing less then 50 psi will not start the engine. if the engine starts with starter fluid then the problem is in the fuel system.

I have a 95 cherokee with a four cyl. i have fire to the plugs adaquate fuel pressure, 65 to 75 psi cyl pressure, timing is correct but will not crank?!?!

cranking is what happens when you turn the key and the engine turns.... Is that what's happening?
If I remember correctly, fuel pressure at the rail should be about 35psi. If higher, check the regulator and the return line.(could be blocked)
Crank sensor sends signal to open the injectors (through computer to asd relay). Get a chiltons manual for good wiring diagrams. Crank sensor is a common failure and definitely should be checked.
