Question about 1999 Buick Regal

Front turn signal keeps going out. I have tried to clean the socket and have put bulb grease in but still goes out. If I take the bulb out and put it back in it will work for short time then go out again.

Go to a wrecking yard to see if you can find a clean socket to replace the one you have--once corroded from water entry, the metal is very hard to keep clean because it loses it's plating.

The left front turn signal is not working

Fast flashing occurs when one bulb in the circuit has failed. If the back turn signal bulb is flashing, then a front bulb has failed. Try replacing any remaining burned out bulbs (there may be more than one at the front and/or the back - if the right side is ok, check that side of the vehicle for locations reference). Be aware that the problem can also be one or more bad turn light bulb socket connections - in some cases, dielectric grease may have been added inside the sockets to inhibit corrosion. This is not usually a problem, but to be sure, make sure they are clean and free of corrosion.

Front driver side turning signal lamp will not work then works. Looks like both side are heating up to much and melting lenes ? Changed bulb works but still getting to hot?

Double check to make sure you have the right bulbs in them, some bulbs may look exactly alike but one uses more amps then the other. If they are correct try cleaning out the sockets with elec. cleaner and then put some new bulb grease in the sockets.

Left turn signal T/S/ socket melting around contacts some_left front signal light not flashing (but on), rear left IS flashing_auto store sold me lubricant/grease to coat on bulb end and in socket worked...

If the bulb socket is melted you will want to replace the socket then use the socket grease (diaelectric) to keep the bulb socket clean of dirt and moisture. The diaelectric grease will help disipate the heat also.
If the bulb base was melted, you will want to clean the socket thuroughly and make sure no plastic has melted on the contacts causing a bad electrical contact.

Turn signals go out in front

moister or metal is shorting it out. Check all wires to see if they are grounding out and use dielectrical grease in the bulbs sockets to keep moister away from the contacts

Turn signals are blinking fast and the front signals don't blink

The bulb sockets are melted (not the bulb) - go to the junk yard and pick up a couple and keep a couple in your glove box - Have the same problem.

Right Side Turn Signal

Check the contacts on the right side front and back, is there any corrosion in the socket where the bulb makes contact? A little corrosion could prevent the bulb from making contact and not blink. When the right signal is on, what is going on otutside, bulb is on, but not blinking? It's probably just dirty/corroded contacts. Clean them up w/ fine sandpaper or emory board, coat w/ bulb grease (dielectric grease) to prevent future corrosion. Let me know what u find.

Broken Blinkers

Have u checked the bulbs front and rear on both sides? If one bulb is burned out the signals won't flash. Remove the bulbs and check filament. Sometimes the bulb looks good, but the filament has separated, so u might want to try a new bulb anyway. Also check the socket where the bulb makes contact. It's pretty common to have some corrosion inside the socket. Use a small piece of fine sandpaper to clean it up, put a dab of dielectric grease ( available at any parts store) in the socket to prevent future corrosion.countrycurrt0
