My greetings to all Iam from Saudi Arabia and bought 2005 ford free star sport with 4.2 L and i do not know how to get the manual and how many for oil for changing oil with filtter . thank you

you should change the oil every 4000 to 5000 km in that hot climat your van should take a little more then 4 liters of oil so buy 6 liters oil filter part # should be on the filter you could take it off the old one if your doing this yourself drain oil put new filter in and add 4 liters of oil wait 5 minutes check oil level on dip stick add half liter at a time and check oil level again wait few minutes in between for oil to drop down in oil pan for proper readings on dip stick.repeat ontil oil level shows in the hatch marks on dip stick DONT OVER FILL. also fill oil filter with oil before instaling the new one to insure that oil will flow trought engine at startup without having to fill oil filter first leaving engine to run without oil until this happends internaly on its own you may have a liter left after your done ,you can use this for top ups inbetween oil changes .you should also check and replace your air filter at this time .

Somebody stole my only '99 convertable mustang cobra key from me. I cant really have a locksmith come out to where it is to make a new key WHAT CAN I DO!

If you can still get inside your car check your owners manual and see if you can find the key tags with the key code on them. They will look sort of like dog tags except on white plastic or paper and will have a set of 4 numbers followed by an X(0027X - Example). If not call a local Ford Dealer and see if they can pull a key code via the VIN#/Serial# of the car either in the service records or via Ford's online key replacement site(there may be a charge for this as Ford charges the dealer for access but only if they can find a key code). Also they will probably want proof of purchase(registration, insurance, or bill of sale) and your drivers license to prove that your not stealing the car. Or you can contact the original selling Ford dealer and see if they kept the key code in the deal file. Once you have a key code a Ford dealer can cut you a new key. I do believe that your Mustang will have a PATS system so be prepared if you have to tow it to a dealership in order for them to program the keys other wise they will not start the car. I would also advise contacting your insurance agency because some will cover the cost of stolen keys.

This works on chevy's,I don't know about fords.Take a long screwdriver, with a flashlight, if there is enough room, guide the screwdriver in the distributor hole, there should be slot on the top of the oil pump shaft, stick screwdriver in slot and turn oil pump shaft until it lines up with the distributor shaft of the position you want it in.

Iii have an 1987 crown victoria.

OK, here is a mechanics secret that must be maintained in strict confidence... get a 3ft lenght of garden hose or a stick like half a billard q stick or similar sturdy stick. Now put against where you think the noise is coming from and put the stick or hose to you ear while holding it against the source. Move the stethescope around until you locate the source of the sound, then you can fix the suspected culprit. Many times a stuck valve lifter will be the culprit of such elusive ticking and this can be cured with some crankcase oil adative when you change the oil and it will like likely help.
good luck
