Question about 2007 Nissan 350Z

Open Question

How do I get a replacement FMVSS label for a 350Z Nissan? Bought a used 2006 350Z and did not notice that it did not have a FMVSS label and now required a label or a letter from Nissan with VIN, Make, model, Date of manufacture,GVW and Axle Weight ratings. Nissan customer support tells me to go through a dealer as the label is a part but i've talked to 3 dealers and they don't know what I'm talking about.

SOURCE: checking and servicing the automatic transmission

The cap your reffering to is the dip stick. You need to remove the 10mm bolt that holds it in order to check/fill the trans. The trans takes Nissan J Matic fluid ONLY use of any other fluid will damage the trans and void your warranty(this is why it is bolted in). You will see it printed on the handle of the stick when you remove it. You can use the drain plug on the trans pan to drain the old fluid out and then refill it at the tube with a funnel.

SOURCE: what is the weight of Safari XT also GVW yer 1993

it varies, depending on short or long version, all wheel drive, etc. there should be a sticker on the inside of the drivers door that will give you the GVWR for your specific vehicle. if the sticker is gone or unreadable, check in the glovebox, there is sometimes another sticker in there. failing that, contact your local dealer with your VIN# and they should be able to look it up. good luck!

SOURCE: My power seat won't work on my nissan 350z.

I have a 2003 Nissan 350Z Touring edition, when I bought my car a few months ago, I havd to unplug the switches from under the seats, then use an angle phillips screwdriver, to remove the switch, and take it apart and clean all the debri from over the years(bad design by Nissan to have these switches in these positions) re-assemble the switch and reinstall it on the side of the seats, and plug in the harness under the seat(s) and you should be good to go..Hope this helps you, it sure helped me..Jimmy..

2006 350z convertible soft top works hard back hatch will not go down

You need to have the codes scanned for the top. Their are many sensors and switches to these. Not to mention the mechanical parts. I suggest you don't use it till you have it diagnosed.

What's code po 335 on a 2006 nissan 350z

Code 335 is for a problem with the crank sensor. It could be a faulty sensor, the object the sensor reads, or the wiring from the sensor back to the computer.

I have had a Nissan 2006 350Z for over a year now I had an oil change about 6 months ago and since then i have used 3L of oil. The car seems to run fine with no oil leaks. The car does not smoke and there...

The drain plug may need to be replaced, They could have damaged the threads or the gasket. It will leak and you not see it if the oil is leaking onto another part or when driving the wind is pushing the oil off that is leaking. Check out the drain plug.

Is there a fuse for the power windows?

This is an experienced guess. It has to have either fuses or a circuit breaker. On Nissan's there are fuse blocks in the engine compartment and inside the car left upper panel. Usually the fuse cover is labeled.
