Question about Eagle Talon
It is possible for it to be deffective even while it is new. Check your connections, verify you have it hooked up properly, ou will know if you dont because your wires will get very hot or even melt. If everything looks ok take it to the place you bought it and they can test the alternator while it is on the car.

Just a reminder that u can also kill your alternator with High A battery for your car its suiteble to put 75A battery dont put any higher or you will burn alternators brushes
