A short in one of the wires to the lights ... you have to trace the wires and find the short .. then a very simple repair once you find the problem

All my lights, trun signals work yet BOTH upper and lower brake lights out, fuses are good anyone know a cause and fix?

Check for broken or green wires in the lamp connectors. Also check to make sure they are grounded well. To test for ground, hook test light up to POS. terminal on the battery. Also check the brake light switch it may be bad or loose in its mounting.

Where is the brake lightfuse located at on my 2004 envoy xl

There is only one fuse for the brake light, so if the passenger side is working, the fuse is OK. You most likely have a bad bulb, bad bulb socket or a wire issue. The circuit board that all of the rear light are mounted to also has had problems in the past.
BTW - the fuses for the rear light are under the rear seat.

98 ford taurus keeps blowing brake light fuses

check at the rear of the car in many cases trailer hitches are added and removed but the extra external wire harness stays and tends to get damaged causing shorts etc.in any case that is the problem with blowing the fuse check wiring at the rear and near the lights .disconnect both rear lights install a new fuse to see if it still pops if not problem is isolated to one of the lights if still popping then its the harness from the pedal brake switch to the rear of the car..good luck and please vote

Wiper fuse keeps blowing

Lets deal with the fan. Only two things can cause a fuse to pop. A short in the wiper motor. Unplug the connector on it. It the fuse does not blow now you need a wiper moter. If it still blows the positve wire going to the motor is touching medal somewhere. You will need to inspect the wire going from the fuse block to the wiper motor. . Also sounds like you have no power to the brake switch.. Another fuse issue or a broken wire somwhere before where you bypassed the switch

The brake light do not work and the fuse keeps popping

Check the wiring. Using a multimeter in ohms to see where its grounding out. If the wiring is not the problem check the turn signal switch. The turn signals and brake lights are wired together when you hit the brakes and use the left or right turn signal it should cancel out by using the turn signal switch. There is also a switch that the brake pedal touches when brakes are applied check the switch to make sure its not faulty. This can also be the problem. I had a early 90's model accord had the same problem.

Let me know if i was any help
