Question about 1983 Jeep CJ5
How to disassemble 1972 JEEP Warn hubs on a cj5 4x4
The old Warn hubs I remeber hub bolts around the outside and the lockers on the outside come off. then on the inside there is a snap ring to remove, (it's fine like a wire and is an internal ring). Everything should come out then. If you are taking the hubs off you will need to get the correct socket to remove the 2 nuts on the inside along with the locking retainer. The socket is not a normal one like 11/8 it will be round with driving pins or tabs, see your local auto parts store for this they can help... I do not have any old diagrams of this...
