Brakelight does not work

1. If only one of the 3 brake lights isn't working, replace that lamp.
2. If all 3 brake lights aren't working, AND THE HORN ISN"T WORKING, see page 216 of the 2005 Honda Element Owners Manual. Fuse #7 in the underhood fuse box, labelled horn/stop is probably blown. (Cruise control is also probably out).

2004 mazda 3 will not get out of park? used override switch and no brake lights or horn?

The gearbox probably has electronis shift lock. It will be controlled by the brake lamp switch.Check the fuse for the brake lamps/horn if that is ok, check that the connector has not fallen off the switch at the brake pedal.
Hope this helps

Plugged in a trailer and now brake lights and horn don't work

There definitely should be a fuse for your brake lights. It should be inside the car fuse box, but sometimes it'll be under the hood (very rare). There's also a switch above the brake pedal that turns your brake lights on. This switch may be faulty

Just had a similar problem. Brake (stop) lights and horn didn't work. Couldn't find mention of stop lights in fuse chart. Found horn fuse to be slot 21 in the engine fuse block (not the fuse block in car interior). Replaced 15A fuse and all now ok.

Horn

The horn button itself is the switch therse power to the horn button and you push the button to complete the cicuit to the horn.if the horn is bolted to the body it is already earthed and requires power to work not earth.
