Have you tried bleeding the injectors by just cracking the unions until you see fuel leaking then tighten them as i stupidly run out of fuel and my 3.0tid wouldnt start even when recovery company tried and that is what it turned out to be an air lock

I had the same problem on my 9-5 vector 3.0 TiD with the top up coolant warning. Nearly became bankrupt trying to diagnose the problem and trips to Saab. Header tank, sensors, pressure tested etc. The Saab squaddies couldn't figure it out until it got worse. It's a head gasket failure despite passing pressure tests initially...sounds like it's still early days on yours. Had to replace the engine for near £5000.but under warranty :-) Reckon 2.5-3k at a good specialists.

When should the timing belt be changed on a saab vector 1.9 Tid

Standard Answer for Timing Belts/Chains: 100,000 to 120,000 miles is when the Timing Belts/Chains start malfunctioning or failing. Some people want to go ahead and change them before malfunctions/failures happen.
I just replaced mine on 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan which just turned 100K. Most Timing Belt/Chain failures will cause more costly engine damage when these fail, including a need to replace/rebuild an entire engine.

I suspect you have a problem in the security system receiver module, which in most cars must be programmed by the dealer.

My fuel pump failed when the car ran ou6t of fuel

you probably have alot of air in your line. i would fill it with a high test gas and park it for 4 or 5 hours at idle. this will purge the air out of the line.
