Question about Volkswagen Beetle
The major problem is the engine not running. Rest are because of that. If there is fuel reaching the cylinders and there is current in the spark plug the engine should run smoothly. When the engine sputters means that there is most likely less fuel reaching the cylinders, accelerates and dies when you release the accelerator paddle. So, please check the fuel supply. The pump could be bad or the fuel line may be blocked (partially). Check the spark in the plugs. It should be blue spark jumping between the lead and the plug. Check the gap of the spark plug. Fan and AC will run fine when the car is running smoothly.
