Does it run well if the engine is warm? if it does it is most probably the water temperature sensor, if not try disconnecting the Air Flow Meter (5/6 pin plug located just after the air filter) and see if it runs better if it does change the a/f meter and post the results.

It seems to do it both cold and warmed up. Defiantly when it is warmed up

2001 jeep Cherokee sport out of no where started sputtering and chugging, running rough and 10 mph was top speed go about 20 ft then die. Start up and same thing. Went about 1-2 miles like this.

to me, it sounds like fuel related problem.
Clogged fuel filter, bad (aged) fuel pump, or water in tank.

one thing I doubt is "Sputtering".
low fuel pressure don't do "Sputtering".

it sounds a lot like the Timing is off. I would locate an Authorized Mechanic to set the Timing.

1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee stalls when brakes are applied

My 2000 Grand Cherokee had the same problem, without all the sputtering, it would just die approaching a stop. We could only keep it running by slightly pushing down on the gas petal when coming to a stop. I replaced the Throttle Position Sensor, but that didn't change anything. A new mechanic I found replaced the Idle Air Control Valve, and we've had no problems in a week.
