Question about 2007 Chevrolet Malibu SS Sedan New Cars

Front Passenger Puddle

I have found water (large enough to form a puddle) in the front passenger floor of my 2007 Malibu twice in the last week. Each event happened after both a rainstorm and I had used my A/C to defog my windshield.

I have seen the water coming out from two separate areas somewhere behind the glove box - One, the water shot out of, the other spot's flow was more of a stream.

I was able to empty the hidden storage area of its water by taking hard left turns or spinning the car in circles to the left. This stopped the leaking, but left me with the puddle on my floor.

Your A/C / Hearter Box has a Rubber Drain tube Under the Car that Has Become CLOGGED and Must be UNCLOGGED to STOP this Flow of Water, It is CONDENSATION from the A/C EVAPERATOR witch DOES COME IN PLAY upon USE of the DEFROST Meaning the A/C Compressor is ENGADGED when the DEFROST is ON thus Causing the EVAPERATOR to PRODUCE MOISTURE/CONDENSATION and fills up the Box I have used Clothes hangers, Screwdrivers things like this to UNCLOG this RUBBER TUBE, It is Under Vehicle Right about at the SAME Place as the Glove box just Slightly more towards the FRONT of Car . THIS WILL HELP as its the only thing Your Discription Could Be Besides a LEAK in ROOF or DOOR SEALS and a 2007 Vehicle Wont have that Problem UNLESS WRECKED.

Toyota 2008 highlander water on rear center passenger floor. A/C drain outside passenger side draining.Seems to puddle on rear floor when A/C is on high and recirculating fresh air. Any clue? problem?

For water to pool on the floor with AC on should indicate a plugged evap drain tube. The tube will have to be inspected for kinks and debris lodged in it. It may be draining some of the water but not enough.

Leaking in front of back passenger tire

Look for a dislodged Air conditioning drain hose. This hose sometimes gets kicked off by a passengers foot. The hose is a jamb fit. It is typically black, about 1/2 in diameter.

A puddle appears on the front passenger side floor when it rains and car has been parked not used. Nothing else appears wet except the floor.

GM cars used to be notorious for leaking rain water in around the edge of the front windshield. There is also a rainwater drainage system on the front, generally where the wipers are located and the drain hole on the bottom of that can become clogged.

My car is having a puddle form in the backseat floor on the drivers side, i have found it to be coming from the door but all of the weatherproofing is in great shape and is not leaking. Where could it be...

Check to see if the passenger front seat carpet is wet by the engine fire wall. use a paper towel or tisue toulch the carpet. If it is the heater core could have a leak and must be repaired or replaced.

A/c is on and passenger front floor boared is flooded

It can be the heater core leaking or it could be the A/C condensation line is clogged up.More than likely it's the heater core if it is a large puddle of water though.

Water leak on fwd and back passenger side after every rain storm

pull your carpet up near the leak area and look for muddy body seams. it is possible one of the factory body seams are leaking- possibly in the cowl(under wipers) area, especially if it leaks when the car is sitting. there will be dirt/mud around the seams that are leaking. also you can check door seals by running the car on HIGH DEFROST with all doors and windows closed. spray around with a 50/50 soapy water solution. obviously bubbles will form around your leak.
