Question about 2001 Toyota Tundra
I'd like to know exactly how to replace the starter on my 2001 Toyota Tundra 4WD truck. How do I gain access to the old starter in order to remove it?
If the truck has a v8 4.7L engine. The starter is under the intake manifold.

Usually mounted on the driver side or passenger side through the motor and possible a plate into the transmission. remove the negative terminal from the battery and set aside so it doesn't touch the negative post, climb under the truck, remove the starter and power and signal leads, replace with new or quality remanufactured, installation is reverse procedure of removal
